Credits are how we measure usage in QuantCAD. Each prompt reserves credits before it runs:

• ASK mode costs a small fixed amount per question. For planning, asking questions, and exploring your design.
• BUILD requests scale with the complexity of the change, with a hard upper cap per prompt so a single request can never exceed the maximum.
• Creating a new product reserves at least the standard BUILD amount.

Viewing, exporting, switching versions and running measurements in the workspace don't consume credits. You can see exactly how credits were spent on the Usage page in your dashboard.

The Free plan gives you 5 daily credits, up to 25 credits per month, for your first 2 months. This amounts to about 50 credits total from the daily drip plus a 5-credit signup bonus. You can try the full workflow end-to-end. Free uses limited and older AI models; Pro and above use the latest models for the best quality and speed.

Yes. Plan credits roll over month to month, up to a tier-specific bank limit (a generous multiple of your monthly allotment, larger on higher tiers). Once you reach the bank limit, additional plan credits won't be added until you spend some.

Bonus credits (signup bonus, refill purchases, referrals, feedback, etc.) never expire. The 5-daily-credits onboarding drip (up to 25/month) is granted for your first 2 months after signup, on any plan.

No. The signup bonus, purchased refill credits, and credits earned from referrals or feedback all sit in your bonus balance and never expire. Bonus credits are spent after your monthly plan credits.

Pro and Business subscribers can buy a one-time refill at any time from the Billing page. Refill credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits. Refills are not available on the Free plan. Upgrade to Pro or higher to buy them.

Yes, of course! You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Billing is handled securely through Stripe, and changes take effect without any complicated setup.

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Depending on whether you’re on a monthly or annual plan, your access may continue until the end of your current billing period. We’d hate to see you go, if there’s anything we can do to help, please contact support.
